Art: Halperin

This typewriter is from 1919. I got it in preparation for a three day novel writing contest! I wrote about 80 pages. It is called a Remington Noiseless Typewriter but it is really loud! The case is pretty interesting too. It doesn’t look like a typewriter case.  Writing on it is a really physical experience. It takes a lot more effort to push down the keys than with a computer keyboard. I think that really informed my writing. I’m ready to let it go and start a new phase of my writing.
